Carl Foulks, Jr., M.D
Dr. Foulks was born in Washington, D.C and raised in Fayetteville, N.C. He attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro where he was an honors graduate in Professional Chemistry. He attended Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C and then completed his Internal Medicine residency at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. His education concluded with sub-specialty training in gastroenterology at the University of Texas-Houston/M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; after which, he returned to the state he has always considered home. He has now practiced in North Carolina for eight years, seven of which have been spent serving the Iredell County community as a dedicated member of Piedmont Healthcare.
Dr. Foulks currently resides in Mooresville, North Carolina where he enjoys numerous outdoor activities, including snowboarding, kayaking, and mountain biking. He is a regular participant in triathlons, ranging from “sprint distance” to the Ironman, an activity that reflects both his disciplined work ethic and his commitment to living a healthy and active lifestyle.
